The Kidron auction

Saturday 9am March 6th

This is where the buggies park, the horses go into the white barn to the left.

If you arrived in a vehicle you park at a church or school down the road and you get  taxied to the auction in this snazzy getup pulled by a big john deere tractor.

Some fantastic items up for sale.
You would think that these would go to scrap instead?

This looks like it could be fun, actually I think it already was to someone, the roll cage was a bit bent.

This little wheelbarrow seemed out of place. Not that those cement animals look like they are in the right place either!

This is where they keep the animals when they have the livestock auction.

The horses whiskers were frozen it was so cold. Who knows how far they had come from, they looked like they were ready for a break.

Good doughnuts. Even though I was wanting a french waffle....

After the auction we went to Lehmans. Its a cool place to go, Saturdays are super busy but don't try to show up on Sunday ok, they are closed. They have a lot of cool stuff. It's not an all amish made joint like you may expect. But they have a lot of things that you can't easily buy elsewhere, like things needed for putting up foods, tons of kitchen things, cheese making and different gardening type things. They have a super assortment of non electric items (duh). Lots of gift ideas too. You can order a catalog from them or go online to their site http://www.lehmans.com/
